Unfortunately, we've just learned the DSi will not be available in pink upon it's release, so the best alternative is either a pink DS, or better yet, a black or white DSi.

When it is released (not offically announced yet so it may be years away), the pink Nintendo DSi console will have all the same features as any other version of the Nintendo DS. This colour will probably be the most popular of Nintendo DSi colours due to the fact it attracts females to the console much more than any other.

As with other versions of the DSi, the Pink Nintendo DSi comes with features two cameras. One is a 3megapixle external camera for taking photographs while the other is an internal camera, primarily for videoing the player's movements. This is expected to be used in new games exclusively designed for the DSi.

One noticeable improvement of the pink Nintendo DSi over the white DSi is that the screen size has been increased by almost 10%.

The pink DSi will have all the standard features of the pink DS console but expect for the backwards compatibility with Gameboy advance games. This is to make room for the camera, SD card and make the system 12% smaller.

Pink DSi Games

As with the standard pink DS, popular games for the more female targeted pink DSi include the imagine series. By the time the DSi console is released in the UK there will likely be around 300 Imagine games. There are 9 planned between October and December alone:
